Evelyn Shaw

Evelyn leads communications, public affairs and regulatory engagement, and sits on the executive team. She is responsible for how Ordinary’s work is understood by press, policymakers, investors and the public, which she describes as a translation problem rather than a persuasion one.

She joined from a background in crisis communications for technology and infrastructure companies, and argued during her interview that a research lab publishing frontier work needs someone who can explain it before someone else explains it badly.

She reviews every public statement the company issues, including this one.
