Who runs this site
ordinaryailabs.com is a fictional company website published as part of I Was Unsupervised, a satirical fiction project. Ordinary AI Labs is not a real company and cannot hold data about anyone.
The site itself is operated by Fablicious Enterprises, based in Ireland, who is the data controller for any personal data processed here. You can reach us at info@.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you send us a message through any contact form or by email, we receive whatever you choose to include: your name, your email address, and the content of your message. We use it to reply, and nothing else.
Information collected automatically. Our web host records standard server logs when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. These logs exist for security and for keeping the site running. They are not used to build a profile of you.

Why we are allowed to process it
Under the GDPR, we rely on:

How long we keep it
Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period under their own retention policy. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and deleted afterwards. Comments, if enabled, remain until you or we remove them.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing. Data may be processed by the services that make the site work:
- Our hosting provider, Namecheap, which stores the site and its logs.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site and may receive your IP address when a page loads.
- Google analytics
Some of these providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or provide it in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time.

Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

We link to research published by other organisations, along with news and reference material. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else’s site and their privacy policy applies, not ours.
Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the most recent version.
One clarification
Ordinary AI Labs does not exist. It has no offices, no employees, no customers and no AI systems. The research, statements, staff and events described on this site are fiction. This privacy policy, however, is real, and describes what actually happens when you visit this website.
